CHARLES ANDREWS

Co-founder and CEO

Subsequent to active military service as a Scots Guards officer, Charles became a private client stockbroker before becoming the Deputy CEO and co-owner of a global security and risk management group. The US operating company of the group listed on NASDAQ in 2009. As one of eleven senior executives from across the private security industry, he helped establish The British Association of Private Security Companies (BAPSC) in 2006. In 2011 Charles joined Ergo, a leading US intelligence and advisory firm, as Partner responsible for strategy and international development. Charles has over 25 years’ experience in various aspects of security, intelligence and crisis management in the public and private sector.

JAMIE LOWTHER-PINKERTON

Chairman

Jamie recently retired as the Principal Private Secretary to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry (2005-14). He served in the Irish Guards, commanded G Squadron 22 SAS, and worked for the Chief of the Defence Staff (95-98). He is an Advisory Board member of the HALO Trust and a trustee of the Royal Foundation. Jamie is an Honorary Master of the Bench at Middle Temple.

RICHARD GRAYSON

Richard has extensive experience leading cyber-investigations within government and private sector communities. He has a background of delivering military and private intelligence operations globally, including bespoke due diligence and asset recovery. Prior to joining DS-48, Richard consulted to multinational companies and private individuals on cyber threat mitigation techniques.

Deputy Head of Risk Advisory

Following a 27 year career in the Metropolitan Police, 19 years of which were spent within Royalty and Specialist Protection, John joined DS-48 in September 2019. His final six years in the service were spent as a Personal Protection Officer running protection teams for senior members of the British Royal Family. Over his exceptional career, John has specialised in close protection, asset security and crisis response.
